Caustic soda or Caustic Soda Prill or Caustic Soda Flakes is also known as sodium hydroxide (NaOH) and Lye. This name is given because of the corrosive nature of the salt on plant tissues and animals. It is a versatile alkali. It is an extremely alkali and caustic base that deteriorates proteins at ordinary ambient temperatures and also causes serious chemical burns. Sodium hydroxide is a white solid ionic compound comprise of hydroxide anions OH- and sodium cations Na+
Caustic soda flakes is majorly used in textiles processing, soap and detergent, paper and pulp industry. It is also used as an intermediate for wide variety of organic chemicals such as dyes, pigments, agrochemicals and variety of inorganic chemicals such as sulphites, phosphates etc. These are used in the paper making process, production of cellulosic thick liquid and dregs of rice. Moreover, these flakes are used in the preparation of soap, format production of washing the silk ribbon pharmaceutical, formatting the fatty acid and process of refinement moving the vegetable fat

Light Liquid Paraffin Oil Ip is highly purified mixture of liquid saturated hydrocarbons obtained from petroleum and is highly paraffinic in nature. Light Liquid Paraffin oil is transparent, & free from fluorescence in daylight. It is colourless, tasteless, and odourless when cold. Light liquid paraffin oil Ip highly refined hydro-treated oil has excellent thermal & chemical stability, having high flash point & is soluble in Chloroform & solvent Ether. Light liquid paraffin refers to a highly refined mineral oil with being a transparent, colourless, nearly odourless, and oily liquid. The composition of this paraffin involves saturated hydrocarbons derived from petroleum. Sometimes, the term paraffinoma pellucidum denotes the light liquid paraffin. Light Liquid Paraffin Oil Ip is used in the manufacture of Anti-static Coning oil, Knitting oil & other Textile Auxiliaries, Plant Spray Oil, Agrochemicals, Aerosols, Dye Intermediates, Paper Industry; Perfumery, Food Grade Speciality Lubricants, Food Grade Plastics used as a Lubricant Plasticizer, Attars, Flavours & Fragrances, Perfumery Chemicals, Speciality Chemicals, Incenses, Personal Care Products, Leather Chemicals, Fat Liquors, Petrochemical Solvents, etc. It may also be used in the manufacture of Pharmaceuticals and Cosmetic Products like Creams, Lotions, Perfumery Industry, Bulk Drugs & Food Industry etc.

Paraffin fuel: for prama-stoves or paraffin stoves, used in households in rural parts of South Africa
Liquid paraffin is a mineral oil that comes in two forms: either heavy liquid paraffin oil or light liquid paraffin oil. The terms kerosene and paraffin overlap where the latter is used as a liquid fuel. Whereas paraffin wax is a waxy solid, liquid paraffin is more viscous and highly refined and can be used as a laxative.

Castor oil is a vegetable oil that is used for a wide range of cosmetic and medical purposes. It is said to provide health benefits for the face and skin. Castor oil is a translucent liquid with a yellow tint. It is an active ingredient in a wide variety of household items, from cleaning products to paints. It has also been used to treat a range of medical conditions, most notably digestive issues. Castor oil is broken down into ricinoleic acid in the small intestine. This speed up the process of digestion. Although the evidence is less conclusive, castor oil has also demonstrated some potential benefits for the face and skin. Castor oil and ricinoleic acid are thought to increase absorption in the skin and are sometimes used in the treatment of various skin conditions, including dermatosis, psoriasis, and acne. There are also anecdotal reports of castor oil promoting hair growth, including eyelashes, though no scientific literature that supports this. By serving as a source of ricinoleic acid and several other fatty acids, castor oil has some properties that make it a useful skincare product, particularly for the face. Castor oil, produced from castor beans, has long been of important commercial value primarily for the manufacturing of soaps, lubricants, and coatings, among others. Global castor oil production is concentrated primarily in a small geographic region of Gujarat in Western India. This region is favourable due to its labour-intensive cultivation method and subtropical climate conditions. Entrepreneurs and castor processors in the United States and South America also cultivate castor beans but are faced with the challenge of achieving high castor oil production efficiency, as well as obtaining the desired oil quality. In this manuscript, we provide a detailed analysis of novel processing methods involved in castor oil production. We discuss novel processing methods by explaining specific processing parameters involved in castor oil production.

Potassium hydroxide is also known as caustic potash, lye, and potash lye. This alkali metal hydroxide is a very powerful base. The aqueous form of potassium hydroxide appears as a clear solution. In its solid form, KOH can exist as white to slightly yellow lumps, flakes, pellets, or rods. No characteristic odour can be attributed to this compound in its solid state. Potassium hydroxide is soluble in water, freely soluble in ethanol, methanol, and glycerine. It is slightly soluble in ether. It is non-combustible but highly corrosive. It is widely used in chemical manufacturing, cleaning compounds, and petroleum refining. It is an extremely corrosive and hygroscopic strong alkaline in the form of white crystals or flakes. KOH dissolves in water, melts at 360°C and boils at 1320°C. It is possible to obtain a potassium hydroxide solution through electrolysis of a potassium chloride solution. Bear in mind that the substance is highly toxic and causes irritation of skin and the mucous membranes of the eyes and nose. If swallowed, even small amounts of KOH lead to acute poisoning and are even life-threatening.
