Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate also called SLES. Visually, it is a yellowish-white paste and works as an anionic surfactant or detergent that is utilized in different cleanings and personal care products, such as soaps and cosmetics. In day-to-day life, SLES works as a cleansing agent in different products. Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulfate liquid is taken out from natural sources like coconut oil and palm kernel oil. It is easily noticeable on the packet or bottle of shampoo in the ingredients part. sodium lauryl ether sulphate liquid is generally accepted as a surfactant. Coconut diethanolamide is a mixture of amines able to neutralize acids to form salts plus water through an exothermic reaction. Amines may be incompatible with anhydrides, isocyanates, peroxides, halogenated organics, epoxides, acidic phenols, and acid halides. In combination with strong reducing agents, such as hydrides, amines can generate flammable gaseous hydrogen. CDEA is typically used as a foaming agent in shampoos, hand soaps, and bath products. Additionally, it has an application in various types of cosmetics as an emulsifying agent; and in detergents – such as dishwashing liquid – as a foaming agent. Coconut DEA features good stabilizing properties. As an anti-corrosion inhibitor, it’s utilized in metal-working fluids and polishing agents. Additional advantages of Coconut DEA include excellent decontamination, wetting, dispersion, and antistatic performances. In washing detergent formulas, it’s a water softener, thickening, foaming, and foam-stabilizing agent. Combined with other anionic surfactants, such as LABSA, Coconut diethanolamide significantly improves the foaming ability of the formula, making the final product stable, rich, and long-lasting. CDEA can soften fiber textile, which makes it particularly suitable for use in formulas for washing rigid natural and animal fibres. The addition of Coconut diethanolamide to the washing detergent notably enhances overall laundry effects.

The Colour speckles is determined by the activity of mixing Sodium Sulphate & Sodium Chloride, Sodium Silicate & Colorant. The particles are homogeneous in appearance, size & colour and gain very strongly, so they will not get crushed into powder. Colour speckle is fully soluble in water, it does not leave any surplus at any stage. It has non-staining properties including a powder, hydratable, water-soluble, inorganic alkaline salt accumulates along with an anionic surfactant paste as the adhesive chemical has a colouring agent.

A colourful speckle composition in laundry detergent powders and tablets is diverse. The speckles feature exceptional dissolution behaviour and flow properties and should leave no residue or cause adverse effects, such as staining, on the laundry. The overall composition usually comprises a major proportion of white or neutral particles and a minor proportion of colourful speckles. However, it’s not uncommon to have a compound featuring a significant proportion of colourful particles as the base, mixed with a small amount of a contrasting hue. Apart from purely aesthetic purposes, colourful speckles can serve some practical functions, too. Including visually contrasting particles can be a clue to the consumer, indicating the presence of some specific ingredient, such as bleach. If used solely as a visual enhancer, the colourful speckles composition is commonly present in an amount of 1% – 3%. The colourful speckles are especially suitable for incorporation in detergent compounds which contain sodium chloride.

A silicone oil is any liquid polymerized siloxane with organic side chains. The most important member is polydimethylsiloxane. These polymers are of commercial interest because of their relatively high thermal stability, lubricating, and dielectric properties. Silicone oils are important tools in vitreoretinal surgery because they can displace aqueous humour from the retinal surface, maintaining the adhesion between retina and retinal pigment epithelium. To understand this capability, it is important to know the silicone oil characteristics. Herein, we report first on the main chemical-physical proprieties and then we review the clinical applications of the current silicone oil which is lighter than water with reference to their indications with small gauge vitrectomy. Finally, we describe the surgical techniques to inject and remove this type of silicone oil. In the summary of this paper, we explain why silicone oils are today increasingly used and why their introduction has improved the prognosis of several retinal diseases.
